There are so many things that can impact not only you but also your growing babies. I found this article to be alarming! Even the breaths you are taking indoors may be more toxic than you think because of cooking with nonstick cookwear, microwaving lunches and dinners in plastic containers, cleaning with household items that are toxic. It's sad we even have to consider these things, but they are a very real part of everyday life that can cause serious harm to those exposed to it. Since starting my IVF journey about a year ago now, I have been very mindful of things like this even before I become pregnant.
One day, I decided to go through all of my tupperware and skillets and throw out anything plastic, even spatulas. My family thought I was a little crazy and perhaps losing it, but what do I have to lose? Perhaps this will reduce the amount of toxic chemicals in our environment, especially while we try to have a family.

Another thing you should avoid is anything with perfume or fragrance listed on the back of it. I know this stuff costs money, but its not worth the damage it truly does to your body. The amount of toxicity in fragrance (other than natural oil derived fragrance) was so surprising to me! I love my scented perfumes, plug ins, and lotions as much as anyone else but I had no clue these chemicals can be traced back to cancers, and other hormone disruptions in the body. I have personally found a lot of great DIY bug sprays and house cleaning products to assist in cutting back on pesticides and harsh cleaning chemicals. Message me if you'd like to hear more of my thoughts!
