I have done the research, and its not good people. Other areas of the world recognize their water issues (such as China or Mexico) and warn people not to drink it. In the US, I don't think there is enough awareness of what is really in the water. Have you seen the movie Erin Brockovich? If you haven't, this movie depicts how serious contaminated drinking water really is.
Here is a link to the EWG.org reading for my local town showing that there is in fact 5 different cancer causing agents found in the water. Yikes!!
