Quick healthy breakfasts

Here are some of the things that I've found to be a yummy breakfast idea when you don't have a lot of time and want to be healthy and get adequate protein!

Microwave Scrambled Eggs:

2 eggs (or sub egg whites)

2 Tbsp milk or water

1 slice american cheese

Mix all ingredients in a container, microwave at 30 second intervals stirring in between intervals. Depending on the strength of your microwave, this could be done in 1-1.5 minutes!

Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie:

2 Tbsp PB Fit Protein Powder

1 cup almond milk

1/2 banana (ripe)

4 ice cubes

Blend all ingredients together, and serve! I try to do this in place of my morning coffee when I'm trying to cut back on caffeine.

Fertility Smoothie:

1 cup almond milk

1 small handful of frozen spinach

1 tsp maca powder

1/5 (including core) of fresh pinneapple

1/2 banana

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp shredded coconut

Blend all ingredients together, serve. It will make you feel like you're on the islands :)

Organic Yogurt parfait with blueberries, organic coconut clusters, and agave nectar:

3/4 cup Organic plain yogurt (can use regular or greek)

1/4 cup organic coconut clusters (or some combo of nuts, flaxseed, coconut flakes)

1/2-1 tbsp agave nectar

1/2-1 cup blueberries

I layer the yogurt, followed by a couple handfuls of blueberries, followed by the coconut clusters, and then drizzle the agave nectar overtop for a little natural sweetness. It is a really tasty breakfast with lots of protein and not a lot of calories/carbs if you get sick of eggs or smoothies :)
